Intraday Calls

Review of the Last Intra-day:

During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 105 points. The Share Bazaar closed 95 points positive, at new life high at 7108, after making an intraday high and low of 7172 and 7067 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were up. FTSE was up 21 points, CAC was up 11 points, and DAX was up 52 points. US markets were mix. Dow Jones closed up 20 points, S&P 500 was up 0.80 points, and Nasdaq was up down 14 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:

On the last trading day, FIIs bought Rs. 2026 crores in cash segment whereas DIIs sold Rs. 649 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 1500 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 1092 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 194 crores and in stock options FIIs bought Rs. 29 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI. 

Options Segment Activity:

In f&o market, May series options data tells that, Nifty 7000 call sheds 9.3 lac shares. Nifty 7100 put adds 5.3 lac shares. Highest OI of 52.6 lac shares is at 7500 call and 56.7 lac shares is at 6400 put. According to options data, bulls and bears are building positions for election results.

  

Currency Market:

In the currency market the USDINR closed at 59.68. The INR was stong by 0.37 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:

Today morning, Asian markets are trading mix. Nikkei is down 52 points, Hang Seng is up 32 points, Taiwan is up by 11 points, and Kospi is up by 13 point. Today Nifty opened at 7112 up 4 points and made an intraday high of 7142 and low of 7096 till 10:06 a.m. Today market should go both way.

For the intraday, till 12:29 p.m. Nifty is down about 11 points. Top gainers for Nifty are BANKBARODA, PNB, and JINDALSTEL while losers are M&M, DRREDDY, and BHEL.
