Review of the Last Intra-day:
During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6783 and low 6684. After making an intraday range of 99 points, the Share Bazaar closed up 104 points at 6779. On the last trading day, European indices were up. FTSE was up 41 points, CAC was up 26 point, and DAX was up 92 points. US markets were mix. Dow Jones closed down 16 points, S&P 500 was up 3 points, and Nasdaq was up by 1 point.
FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 433 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 123 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 716 crores in Index futures and FIIs purchased Rs. 485 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 304 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 9 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.
Options Segment Activity:
In f&o market, April series options data tells that, Nifty 6800 call sheds 8.7 lac shares. Nifty 6700 put adds 20.6 lac shares. Maximum 44.3 lac shares are outstanding at 6800 call and 64.5 lac shares at 6700 put. According to options data, bulls have upper hand on bears.
Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 60.29. The INR was strong by 0.08 paisa.

Today morning, Asian markets are trading mix. Nikkei is up 96 points, Hang Seng is up 64 points, Taiwan is down by 12 points, and Kospi is down by 6 points.
