Review of the Last Intra-day:
During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 83 points. The Share Bazaar closed 58 points negative at 6675, after making an intraday high and low of 6748 and 6665 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were up. FTSE was up 43 points, CAC was up 60 points, and DAX was up 144 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 162 points, S&P 500 was up 19 points, and Nasdaq was up by 52 points.
FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
On the last trading day, FIIs sold Rs. 45 crores in cash segment and DIIs also sold Rs. 348 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 197 crores in Index futures and FIIs bought Rs. 138 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 397 crores and in stock options FIIs purchased Rs. 51 crores. Options Segment Activity:
In f&o market, April series options data tells that, Nifty 6700 call adds 10 lac shares. Nifty 6700 put sheds 8 lac shares. Highest OI of 53 lac shares is at 6800 call and 52.6 lac shares is at 6600 put. According to options data, bears have upper hand on bulls.
Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 60.37. The INR was weak by 0.14 paisa.
