Review of the Last Intra-day:
During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6813 and low 6711. After making an intraday range of 103 points, the Share Bazaar closed down 43 points at 6733. On the last trading day, European indices were down. FTSE was down 42 points, CAC was down 39 point, and DAX was down 165 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 89 points, S&P 500 was up 12 points, and Nasdaq was up by 11 points.
FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
Yesterday, FIIs sold Rs. 22 crores in cash segment and DIIs also sold Rs. 278 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 1029 crores in Index futures and FIIs purchased Rs. 146 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 199 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 136 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.
Options Segment Activity:
In f&o market, April series options data tells that, Nifty 6800 call adds 9.4 lac shares and Nifty 6700 call adds 3.3 lac shares. Nifty 6700 put sheds 3.7 lac shares. Maximum 45.6 lac shares are outstanding at 6800 call and 52.4 lac shares at 6700 put. According to options data, bears have upper hand on bulls.
Beginning of the Day:
Today morning, Asian markets are trading mix. Nikkei is up 246 points, Hang Seng is up 96 points, Taiwan is down by 5 points, and Kospi is down by 3 points.
