Review of the Last Intra-day:
During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 46 points. The Share Bazaar closed 20 points negative at 6776, after making an intraday high and low of 6789 and 6743 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were up. FTSE was up 22 points, CAC was up 19 points, and DAX was up 24 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 146 points, S&P 500 was up 15 points, and Nasdaq was up by 23 points.
FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
On the last trading day, FIIs sold Rs. 362 crores in cash segment while DIIs bought Rs. 395 crores in cash. FIIs sold Rs. 305 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 295 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 720 crores and in stock options FIIs purchased Rs. 33 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.
Options Segment Activity:
In f&o market, April series options data tells that, Nifty 6800 call adds 2.1 lac shares. Nifty 6800 put sheds 3.5 lac shares. Highest OI of 40 lac shares is at 6900 call and 56 lac shares is at 6700 put. According to options data, bull and bears activity is muted.
Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 60.18. The INR was weak by 0.10 paisa.
