Review of the Last Intra-day:
During previous intraday the Nifty made a high of 6725 and low 6650. After making an intraday range of 75 points, the Share Bazaar closed up 1 point at 6695. On the last trading day, European indices were down. FTSE was down 32 points, CAC was down 11 point, and DAX was down 20 points. US markets were up. Dow Jones closed up 10 points, S&P 500 was up 7 points, and Nasdaq was up by 33 points.
FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
Yesterday, FIIs bought Rs. 704 crores in cash segment while DIIs sold Rs. 1081 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 98 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 406 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 444 crores and in stock options FIIs sold Rs. 7 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI.
Options Segment Activity:
In f&o market, April series options data tells that, Nifty 6900 call sheds 10 lac shares. Nifty 6500 put adds 7.2 lac shares. Maximum 39 lac shares are outstanding at 6900 call and 62.2 lac shares at 6400 put. According to options data, bulls have upper hand on bears.
Beginning of the Day:
Today morning, Asian markets are trading mix. Nikkei is down 206 points, Hang Seng is up 128 points, Taiwan is up by 34 points, and Kospi is up by 2 points.
